The People, Yes

The People, Yes will represent itself in Greensboro, NC through an online social network and a physical presence in the community.

Our short-term mission:

To reach out to our neighbors on the other side of the digital divide and provide the necessary training and logistics for enabling a new online community of POV's. This includes the homeless community and people living below the poverty line.

Our longer-term mission:

To develop the collaborative blog platform into a Greensboro-specific social network -- creating meshed communities of all participating resident's topical interests, while focusing on engaging local business to both smart-sponsor and advertise within such sub-communities. A small percentage of ad revenue would be funneled back to the content creators themselves, with the remainder funneling back into programs that support local homeless and lower-class communities.
